Created to Empower Veterans through Wellness

Having a mindful practice has been proven to have a powerful impact on your physical and mental wellness. Studies have shown mindfulness practices can reduce the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The Wellness Empowerment Deck, is a mindful practice resource created with Veterans with PTSD in mind. This deck of cards encourages Veterans to engage in mindful practices that reduces stress and anxiety, increase mental focus and help Veterans see things as they are and observe—but not judge—their experiences past or present.

• The Wellness Empowerment Deck supports positive self talk, creativity, healthy self expression and dialogue.

• These cards are an outstanding resource to have while working with a therapist or as a standalone tool to use everyday. 

• It is filled with dozens of practical coping and mindful resilience skills.

The deck contains 52 wellness cards + 1 bonus card divided into 3 categories:

Empowerment Cards- When pulled, these uplifting yellow cards display a powerful and inspiring message, which challenges the never ending negative inner mental chatter while elevating Veterans future outlook on life.

Journal Prompts- When pulled, these nurturing green cards provide a journal prompt that guides to an in-depth understanding on different personal development topics, a safe space where Veterans can turn to when unwanted feelings or emotions arise.

Mindful Activities-When pulled, these calming blue cards suggests and encourages healthy and valuable activities, Veterans can explore when redirecting unwanted patterned behaviors.
